‘They might look like little machines or small robotic animals, but these curious creatures are actually mosquito larvae taken from a pool in my garden in The Netherlands. The larvae were placed in water in a petri dish, and lit from underneath using an LED panel. I was fascinated by the small details and intersecting parts.’
